Amsterdam-based photographer Lauren Hillebrandt’s’s ‘Just Fruits’ will have you looking at fruits in a different light.
This photo series showcases fruits that have been suggestively positioned to resemble human-like characters in the middle of sexual acts.
That is surprising, considering that Hillebrandt—who uses mundane daily life to highlight the absurdism of her work—cites boredom as one of the things that inspires her.
These themes are also apparent in her other projects, such as ‘The Day’ and ‘Flat Landscapes’.
