Serif VS Sans Serif

For those interested in typography but don’t have a clue, website UrbanFonts.com has created an infographic that explains the differences between serif and sans serif fonts.

The infographic, entitled ‘Serif VS Sans: The Final Battle’, helps you learn when to use one over the other—serif fonts are easier to read on print, while sans serif fonts are easier to read on web.

According to the infographic, serifs guide the horizontal ‘flow’ of the eyes. Sans serifs are better for children who are learning to read, as they are simpler and easier to recognize in shape.

Designers, are these facts are true?
