Vimeo’s ‘Looks’ Let You Put Instagram-Like Filters Over Your Videos
Vimeo is set to roll out ‘Looks’, an add-on to its Enhancer toolkit that offers over 500 filters users can place over their videos, to produce charming cinematic effects.
Effectively bringing Instagram to videos, these new filters are applied within the web browser and can be previewed in real-time before the user makes a final selection.
The large number of filters are categorized according to genre and mood, to make it easier for users to find the most suitable one—you can even leave the filter selection up to Looks, which can automatically choose a filter “based on technical analysis of the user’s video and social data”.
Looks will be made available to registered users of Vimeo within the next 90 days.
