Converse Ad Shows That People Who Wear Sneakers Have More Fun

The message of classic sneaker brand Converse’s new ad is simple: shoes are boring, wear sneakers if you want to have more fun.
The “Shoes Are Boring” campaign contrasts the people who wear shoes and those who don sneakers—while shoes are depicted as an option for the conservative, rules-abiding crowd, sneakers are seen as the footwear of choice for creative and adventurous individuals.
For instance, while “shoes go running at dawn”, “sneakers go home at dawn” after an awesome night out.
Although we are sure that cool people wear shoes sometimes too, this ad certainly makes us wish we can put on our sneakers more often.
