Pokémon Characters Re-Drawn In Tim Burton’s Signature Style
Aspiring illustrator and design student Vaughn Pinpin has embarked on a side project in which he re-imagines Pokémon characters in the artistic style of famous film director Tim Burton.
Fans of either Burton’s work or the Pokémon franchise are in for a treat—for instance, crowd favorite Pikachu has the trademark wide-eyed look of Burton illustrations, while Charizard looks both menacing and disdainful.
The project is still on-going—Pinpin intends to re-create all 151 of the original Pokémon characters.
