Funny Paste-On Street Art That Interacts With The Surroundings

French “wheatpaste” street artist Levalet has created a series of artworks by placing paper cut-out images at strategic locations in order to depict funny scenes.

Many of these pieces relate to and interact with their immediate environments to tell stories—for instance, one of them shows an image of a man pulling down a metal shutter in a door-way, making it look like he is shutting down his shop for the day.

One could easily mistake these life-sized, realistic street art for real people if they were created in color instead of black and white.

The artist also often includes three-dimensional props, like an umbrella or a book, in his artworks.
