Maps Of Continents & Cities Re-Imagined As Periodic Tables Of Geography

Brooklyn-based artist and designer Lekan Jeyifous has created a series of unusual maps that are made to resemble the neat, geometric arrangement of the periodic table of elements.

Currently consisting of five maps—Africa, The United States, Chicago, Brooklyn and Manhatten—the collection is inspired by some of the artist’s favourite places.

Each map is made on a grid, where each square unit represents a neighborhood, state or country—the different areas of the map are also coded in bold, eye-catching colors.
