Man Accidentally Photo-Bombs Proposal Picture, Becomes Funny Internet Meme
Sometimes, we just find ourselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.
That is exactly what happened to this man, who tried to get out of a camera’s viewfinder, when he discovered that he was in the way of a once-in-a-lifetime proposal photograph at Disney World—but it was all too late.
Reddit user SpnyHappy uploaded the image of the awkward photo-bomber as a joke—the internet just ran with it and turned him into a funny internet meme.
Now known as the “In The Way Guy”, the accidental photo-bomber has been inserted into some of history’s most famous images—including the Tiananmen Square tank picture and The Beatles’ iconic Abbey Road album cover.
Life in the internet age can be so unpredictable—one day you are just a regular middle-aged man, and the next, you are the internet meme du jour.
