A New Logo & Re-Designed Branding For The ‘MasterChef’ Franchise
By Dorothy Tan, 07 Aug 2013
Reality TV cooking show “MasterChef” is no longer just a television franchise but has expanded to become a “food communication brand” that is involved in the retail, publication, live events and online industries.
To reflect the brand’s expanding commercial sphere, London-based agency The Plant has overhauled the MasterChef’s branding by creating a new logo and re-designing the style of its product packaging, magazines and cookbooks—even the posters and opening sequence of the TV show were updated.
The result is a more contemporary and cohesive look that is fresh and attractive without losing the original appeal of the brand—we are especially drawn to the simple but colourful packaging of its kitchen tools and appliances collection.
