Bus Stop Ads Bring Dog Owners & Their Pooches On Inspiring Walks

To encourage dog owners to bring their pooches on sufficiently long walks, pet food company Pedigree launched a creative ad campaign that uses JCDecaux and Clear Channel’s bus shelter advertising network to map out interesting city walks.
Launched in the Belgium cities of Ghent and Brussels, Pedigree has planned out a total of seven walks for dog owners to choose from—the poster at each bus stop would lead the dog-walker to the next node in the route.
Designed to break the monotony of dog-walking—people tend to go on the same route everyday—the posters also have an interactive aspect where walkers can participate in giveaways on Pedigree’s Facebook page to win free dog food samples.
