Creative Ads Show How ‘In A Parallel Universe, Your Job Might Suck’

The Eagle Awards is an event in South Africa that celebrates excellence in the advertising industry—for 2013, the team behind the awards sent out a trio of creative ads to attract submissions from advertising creatives.
Created by Cape Town-based agency King James, the ads’ tagline reads as “In a parallel universe, your job might suck”—the images that accompany it show people performing undesirable jobs, such as waxing a man’s extremely hairy back and cleaning up roadkill.
The key message of these ads is that if one was lucky enough to do advertising for a living, they should make the most of their job—and that translates to entering the Eagle Awards.
Even if you are not working in the advertising industry, chances are your job is much better than those depicted in this ads—so, count your blessings.
