Pants Made From Real Human Skin

At the Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft in Holmavik, displays a pair of pants made from real human’s flesh.

According to UPI.com, the ‘skinnies’ were created back in the 17th century, with the skin of a dead sorcerer—and is thought to bring its wearer good luck and be used for magic.

Magic practitioners back then believed that magical powers could be transferred from one to the other by wearing his skin—and they made deals where whoever dies first would become a pair of “necropants”.

The last sorcerer standing would have to remove the skin of the dead sorcerer in one piece, and he can wear the skin as part of his body.

Thereafter, he would have to steal a coin from a widow, and place it in the scrotum of the skin-pants—“next to a magical sign called nábrókarstafur,” UPI.com states—to get rich through supernatural ways.

Would you wear pants made from human skin to get rich?
