Lovely Handmade Stop-Motion Video Of iPhone iOS, Comments On Mundane Daily Life

‘Skew’ is a stop-motion video film, by London-based university students Carrie Bale, Doug Hindson and Jooyoung Ryo, that subtly comments on the monotonous cycle of the digital day-to-day.

Named after the term ‘Skeuomorph’, an object or feature which imitates the design of a similar artefact in another material, the video features a hand-made phone that takes after the shape and operating system of an Apple iPhone and its iOS interface—and also takes after the humdrum of everyday life in this modern day and age.
