Bookstore Recreates Famous Scenes From Literature Using LEGO Bricks

The Red Wedding from A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire book 3) by George R.R. Martin.

To celebrate the release of The LEGO Movie, the staff of the Waterstones Bookstore set aside some time to recreate famous scenes from literature using LEGO bricks.

This series features a scene from George R.R. Martin’s books—his books were adapted into the popular TV series Game Of Thrones—as well as the tragic ending from Shakespeare’s Romeo And Juliet.

Check out the rest of these scenes below—isn’t it amazing how we can build so much with these simple toy bricks?

Dracula’s bedchamber, from Dracula by Bram Stoker.

Mr Darcy leaving the lake, from BBC’s incarnation of Pride and Prejudice, originally written by Jane Austen.

Arthur vs Mordred, from Le Morte d’Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory.

Romeo reaches Juliet’s tomb, from Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare.
