Loving Dad Creates Adorable Lunchbox Meals For His Two Children
By Jillian Wong, 04 Apr 2014
Loving parents creating amazing lunchbox art get the thumbs-up around these quarters–just check out New York City-based lawyer Gamene and graphic designer Heather Sitarzewski’s lovely bento lunches for their kids.
San Francisco-based dad Beau Coffron comfortably joins their ranks, thanks to his adorable lunchbox meals that he packs for his two children every week. Aside from being lovely to look at, they are also delicious and healthy; a combination that doesn’t sound like it should work, but does.
Coffron, who goes by the name of ‘Lunchbox Dad’ on his website, gets his inspiration from pop culture and movies, conjuring up characters from Sesame Street, Elsa and Olaf from Disney’s Frozen and the cute minions from Despicable Me.
Instead of merely posting pictures of the meals he creates, the devoted father includes lengthy and thoughtful write-ups detailing the process and ingredients used.
With these wonderful expressions of love and creativity at play, Coffron is the kind of father all children must wish they have.
Check out his creations below and follow his lunch art exploits here. Who knows, they might just inspire you to create them for yourself or your children.
