National Geographic Imagines What The "Average American" Would Look Like In 2050
Last October, as National Geographic commemorated its 125th anniversary issue, the question of how the future human race would look like was surfaced.
Award-winning portrait photographer Martin Schoeller captured the faces of Americans, and then digitally manipulated them to imagine how the “average American” would look like in the year 2050.
The prediction is that over the coming years, interracial relationships will continue to trend upwards and eventually result in the human race looking like an amalgamation of different ethnicities.
