Designer Kyuhyung Cho, who previously came up with a set of tables and chairs that transforms into shelves, has collaborated with fellow designer Erik Olovsson to create a collection of customizable modular furniture that lets you mix and match pieces according to your needs.

Made of plywood and finished with a matte lacquer, the ‘ROOM Collection Furniture System’ consists of 25 stackable wooden blocks and a low table that can be easily assembled to form a long shelf or a tall cabinet.

Each block has a geometric architectural-inspired cut-out that can hold specific objects. For example, the round holes hold wine bottles, the triangular voids store small knick-knacks while the peaked spaces comfortably fit books.

With its fun and playful design, this unique and structural furniture will make a great statement piece in any home.

Check out some pictures of its various configurations below. Would you like to have this quirky furniture in your home?
