The United States Postal Service Gets A Modern Update In Branding & Identity
By Loke Shi Ying, 30 Jul 2014
New York-based multi-disciplinary creative agency GrandArmy was approached by the United States Postal Service (USPS) with a brief to modernize its image for the current era, and streamline its branding across all retail touchpoints.
GrandArmy then redesigned clear signage, way-finding, and packaging for the USPS. Using a dynamic three-bar layout system and a completely new set of design guidelines, they redesigned a complete set of materials--from creed posters, a mobile app, a shipping box, window clings, and more.
The main challenge faced on this project was to keep all collaterals true to its unique American identity, keeping in mind that the USPS is an iconic American institution.
