Former Brooklyn Factory Creatively Transformed Into A Spacious Geometric Loft
By Loke Shi Ying, 21 Sep 2014
New York-based architecture firm SABO Project has transformed a loft apartment in Brooklyn into a quirky, but functional geometric space.
Reinvigorating a former die-casting factory built in 1913, this loft is now a spacious studio home with a mezzanine level, plenty of fitted cabinets and storage areas.
The loft’s interior is finished with wood and white paint, with concrete accents to retain the original industrial look of the loft.
With a unifying geometric theme, even the stairs and walls integrate shelving space.
This spacious loft allows its owner to grow in this apartment as there is ample room for more, exemplifying what creative restoration can do for small, city apartments like this one.
