WWF Wants You To Save Endangered Animals By Tweeting These Emojis
By John Yong, 13 May 2015
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), with the help of ad agency W+K London, has started a donation campaign that involves the use of animal emojis.
Called ‘#EndangeredEmoji’, WWF tweeted out an image of 17 endangered animal emojis—inviting Twitter users to take part in the campaign by retweeting the post.
For every endangered emoji the user tweets out, he or she will be contributing €0.10 to the campaign. At the end of the month, WWF will tally the number of emojis used and tweet users their emoji usage and total donation amount.
Users can then choose to donate the stated amount, or give a smaller donation.
