Japanese Students Create Impressive Chalkboard Murals For Blackboard Art Contest

2nd place to this mural depicting a mirror image of what happens while the teacher has his back turned, by four students at Omiya Koryo High School
Japanese chalkboard maker Nichigaku noticed that over the past two years, there has been a trend amongst Japanese students to create immense chalk artworks on classroom chalkboards between classes.
Earlier this year, the company hosted a Blackboard Art contest that yielded 50 submissions from 249 students in Japan. The winning entry was awarded with gift certificates up to 100,000 yen in value.
