Intriguing Images Of People Living In Incredibly Tiny Spaces In Japan

Brooklyn, New York-based photographer Won Kim explores the shoebox living culture in Japan with his project, titled ‘Enclosed: Living Small’, where he captures the diverse ways travelers cope with cramped living spaces.
Either putting up at these unusually compact quarters on a temporary or semi-permanent basis, the photographs reveal the residents’ curious ability and personal approach to adapt and make a comforting home out of their confined environments.
