A Mirrored Hut On The Beach Excites Beach-Goers
By Yap Yen, 01 Jul 2015
On a beach in Worthing, the UK, local design firm ECE Architecture created a mirrored hut that got beach-goers excited.
Collaborating with Mark Sephton from the Creative Forager, the team spent six weeks designing and building the classic beach hut structure using laser-cut mirrored acrylic sheets on wooden panels. They left dark grey gaps between the sheets to help define the shape of the hut.
The hut was installed on a Saturday morning and word about it spread quickly. Can you imagine the number of selfies that would be taken at the hut?
Head over here to see more.
