An Animated Short Film By NASA Explains The Supermoon Lunar Eclipse

Having only occurred five times since the 1900s, the Supermoon Lunar Eclipse is an extremely rare event that will be gracing our skies on 27/28 September 2015, and will not reappear until 2033.
Dubbed the “blood moon” for its red tinted appearance, the supermoon will be most visible from North and South America, Europe, Africa, and parts of West Asia and the eastern Pacific, according to NASA, for approximately one hour and eleven minutes.
