For Creatives: A Minimalist Clock-Face Stamp To Visually Map Out Each Day
By Louise Jane Cher, 07 Dec 2015
If you are a visual learner, you may like the ‘GutenTag’ designed by Mark Newton.
Instead of using linear diaries with complex agendas and to-do lists, the GutenTag is a simple 24-hour clock-face stamp. To start planning, simply stamp it onto a plain journal of your own choice, and visually map out your daily tasks in a pie chart-like manner.
This simple stamp leaves planning open-ended, and provides users space for imagination. They are encouraged to use pencils, pens and crayons to customize their own daily plans, and to be creative while being productive.
The stamp itself is minimalist and clean, and made from dense rock maple. Marked on it are the twenty-four hours of each day, with 6:00pm to 6:00am being compressed as people work less during those hours.
It is also built to last for years, which can be reused many times, and there is a line for you to write down each day’s date.
