Cambrian House Inc. Unleashes 'Feeding Google' Video onto World
Cambrian House Inc., a Calgary-based software company with a unique crowdsourcing business model, released "Feeding Google", a documentary on how they accomplished the gargantuan feat of feeding 1000 pizzas to Google -- unannounced. The company delivered the meal to the Googleplex on June 26, 2006 as a celebration of Google's induction into their National Viking Association (NVA).

The video illustrates that it's easier said than done -- from finding a pizza place that can make 1000 pizzas to sneaking past Google security to get onto the Googleplex, the video makes clear that the achievement was not without its hurdles. Michael Smith (a.k.a Smitty), ringleader of the deed, remarks that, "The reason why we were able to get it done was a fantastic mix of luck, luck and more luck. It's a wonder I wasn't riddled with rubber bullets. I never thought that my downfall would be caused by sous-chefs."

This won't be the last outrageous video the company will release, Michael Sikorsky, CEO of Cambrian House, promises. "We've got a lot of things to celebrate -- there's more Vikings to induct into the NVA, and we plan on celebrating our 25,000th user with a bang. A big, explosive bang." Until then, the world will have to wait in anticipation.
