Tiny Home In Japan With Unusual Façade Hides A Tranquil, Minimalist Interior
By Yoon Sann Wong, 14 Jan 2016
This 594-square-foot house in Japan might not be considered tiny compared to other places elsewhere, but its irregular façade is certainly eye-catching.
Mizuishi Architects Atelier created this narrow structure that sits alongside a river.
The first floor houses the sleeping area that is flooded by natural light, while the kitchen and dining areas sit on the second floor. Tucked above the cooking space is a small loft area that can be used for play.
