Artist’s Minimal Photo Series Transforms Everyday Items Into LEGO
By Yoon Sann Wong, 04 Feb 2016
Michal Kulesza, a photographer and graphic designer based in Bialystok, Poland, has taken his love for LEGO and turned it into art.
The ‘LEGO Photo Project’, initiated last November, comprises minimalistic images of everyday items such as food, tech gadgets and apparel, creatively transformed into these building blocks.
Kulesza explained, “I think this is the best toy I had when I was a kid…I built my first LEGO set when I was 7 or 8...I love the unlimited possibilities. You can build absolutely anything. Starting with a simple building all the way to the complex machines that actually work.”
“I wanted people to smile when browsing through my profile…I wanted to surprise visitors with some weird ideas.”
