Xiaomi’s New Ultra-Minimalist Laptop Looks A Lot Like The Macbook Air
By Dorothy Tan, 27 Jul 2016
Chinese tech company Xiaomi has just unveiled its latest product—the Mi Notebook Air is a lightweight laptop that is designed with gamers in mind.
With its super clean design—there are no logos on its exterior—this new laptop looks strikingly similar to Apple’s Macbook Air. Both are clad in aluminium and feature very thin, sleek bodies.
However, the Mi Notebook Air does offer users something that most other ultra-portable laptops do not—a discreet Nvidia GeForce 940MX graphic card.
According to Xiaomi, this means that users would be able to play games like Dota 2 at 85 frames-per-second at full-HD resolution on this machine.
This impressive laptop also has a 256GB solid state drive and 8GB of RAM—for additional space, it features a SATA slot to increase storage by up to 256GB.
Read more about Xiaomi’s new laptop here—unfortunately, it is set to be sold only in China, priced at about US$750.
