Uniqlo’s First Global Campaign Questions Why We Get Dressed Every Day

Uniqlo’s first-ever global campaign launches for Uniqlo Lifewear, and opens with a question we don’t really think about: “Every day we get dressed, but why?”
Done by agency Droga5 New York, the ad follows a man running in a crowd, in slow motion, while a narrator ponders what clothing means to us. The slow, calming ad is perfect for Uniqlo Lifewear, which is a collection of basics. The ad feels oddly comforting, which is what one would feel in basics.
To further enforce the brand’s “innovative high-quality clothing that is universal in design and comfort and made for everyone, everywhere”, the ad features a variety of people of different occupations, all going about their lives.
