Spotify Reveals Your Embarrassing Listening Habits In Hilarious Ad Campaign

With all the events that happened in 2016, we can probably all agree that it has been a rather weird year.
But nobody can put that in perspective better than Spotify did with its latest global ad campaign, ‘Thanks, 2016. It’s been weird.’
Rolled out across 14 markets, the music-streaming service put up localized outdoor ads, exposing their listeners for their strange, and sometimes embarrassing, streaming habits.
One of the ads read: “Dear person who played ‘Sorry’ 42 times on Valentine’s Day, what did you do?”
Developed by Spotify’s in-house creative team, the humorous ads have caught the attention of many with its messages that are relevant to pop culture and major events of 2016, including Hamilton and Brexit.
