Coca-Cola Celebrates Lunar New Year With Gorgeous Special Edition Packaging

This Vietnamese New Year, also known as Tet, Coca-Cola celebrates with its fans via a strikingly beautiful redesign by agency Ki Saigon.
Tet represents new beginnings. “It is a time of renewal, forward thinking and time to instill a strong sense of belief in the good things to come. We wanted our design to be a signal of that emotion,” explained the agency.
The makeover incorporates many essential elements characteristic of the cultural event. This includes the five fruit plate and the swallow, whose arrival signifies the beginning of spring.
Fortunately for Ki Saigon, one of the main colors associated with Tet is red, also a key color in Coca-Cola’s brand design guideline. The agency used gold and silver to accentuate the design details.
