Fascinating Photos That Show How Top Chefs Organize Their Refrigerators

Most chefs tend to cook with fresh, local ingredients even when they are not working.
Authors Carrie Solomon and Adrian Moore have documented the refrigerators of top chefs with photographs for their book Inside Chefs’ Fridges, Europe.
The photos give us an insight into the personalities of these renowned chefs and show us what they eat, what they buy for their families and the ways they store ingredients.

Akrame Benallal runs a two-star Michelin restaurant in Paris and his fridge is full of yoghurts, crème caramel desserts and pickled herring from IKEA. There are strawberries, chocolate milk and applesauce for his children.
German chef Sven Elverfeld stocks up root vegetables, feta cheese and tzatziki for his love for Greek food. The top shelf is for his mum’s homemade jams.
Bo Bech, the host of the Danish version of “Kitchen Nightmares” has everything from pickled elderberry flower bulbs to Japanese fermented ume plums.
