Conveying your emotions can get arduous. When actions can’t seem to get the message through, the power that comes with words is utterly ethereal. Certainly, the key to arriving at such a state is with the use of proper terms. The wrong ones could lead you to your grave.
Love is a universal language, understood and felt by everyone. From a kiss on the cheek, to the excitement from watching a trailer of your favorite film—it all leads to the same feeling.
At times, however, you might find yourself without the words to accurately describe how you feel towards someone. Thankfully, there are terms in other languages that describe different sorts of love.
Travel website Expedia has developed a brief guide called ‘Language of Love’. It features various single words from foreign languages that convey nuances in love.
The red-black-white illustrations star two people or more basking in each other’s warmth and company. Instead of the usual “I love you”, consider applying these in your next conversation.
