Although social media has made life a breeze with its convenience and speed, how its used can be something of a bane.
Mediakix has produced an infographic based on research and statistics pertaining to the time people spend on social media.
Did you know the average Joe spends an estimated five years and six months on social media itself in a lifetime? That’s probably the same duration as a kid’s time in elementary school.
Terrifyingly enough, it is approximated that people have spent more time on mobile apps than they did watching television in 2015. Within the past two years, more and more appealing applications have made their debut in the world of technology. With the unwanted help of apps such as Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram, together with the new ‘Live’ features, these numbers are likely to only surge higher.
