How do you know when something’s been badly Photoshopped? Simply watch rapper Ludacris’s latest music video titled Vitamin D.
Whilst most artists try to utilize the software properly, making each and every alteration look close to reality, the 39-year-old rapper had other plans and decided to make a joke out of himself.
In the first few seconds of his newly-released video starring Ty Dolla $ign, Ludacris is seen walking through an aisle of mouth-gaping women ogling over his obviously CGI-ed abs. That scene really got social media laughing, creating witty jokes in the process.
Instead of the rapper himself getting offended, he played along and even directed fans to an Amazon page selling an uncannily similar set of abs.
Amid the notable laughter, Ludacris admitted saying it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. The intentional badly-edited abs were paying homage to the rapper’s previous uniqueness and knack for oversized body parts—evidently seen in his music video titled Get Out.
Check out the music video to Vitamin D below, and have a look through the funny responses on Twitter, including a comment by Ludacris regarding his ‘fantastic abs’.
