By Izza Sofia, 20 Apr 2017
You do not often see illustration used in brand campaigns these days.
But for that very reason, it can be a great way to make your advertising and marketing campaigns stand out, capturing attention and eliciting an emotional response from the audience.
From hand-drawn to vector artwork, the power of illustration cannot be underestimated when done well. So to inspire your own projects, website Designer Daily has brought together 10 examples that show just how illustration can be used in branding in creative and imaginative ways.
For their 2016 brochure, high end travel operator Kuoni worked together with Altavia, to produce these series of eye-catching illustrations. The campaign used bright, popping colors to depict some of the world's most desirable locations in an attention-grabbing way and this strategy has led to better sales.
Mercedes also launched an illustrated campaign that was very well-received. As one of the most recognised brands in the world, its bold advertising campaign took their audience by surprise. The concept portrays Mercedes Benz as a combination of opposites that together create technological innovation, inspiring design and passion.
