H&M’s Former Employee Reveals Best-Kept Secrets Of Shopping At The Store
By Izza Sofia, 21 Apr 2017
A former H&M employee recently revealed shopping secrets that shoppers can use at the fast-fashion store. With the right strategy, you can achieve shopping victories at the brand's outlets.
“H&M offers a slew of must-have basics at moderate price points, so sometimes, it’s worth the extra hassle to sift through rack after rack.”
Some notable tips include how to get a discount every time you shop and how to snag the trendiest items before they hit the shelves. By taking advantage of H&M’s initiative to close the gap on waste, shoppers can bring up to two bags (four to five items) of unwanted garments to receive two coupons for 15 percent off their next purchase.
“Need a turtleneck for Fall? Start checking around August. Want a sheer and lightweight Spring sweater? Begin shopping in February.”
Because H&M is your one-stop shop for all your basics, the good stuff tends to run out fast. Try shopping for basics a month before the start of the new season. Although new basic pieces are made better, the store carry less of them and they do not replenish.
“You can find a volume of funky, elevated, and on-trend items by filtering your search to ‘Trend’.”
Do your shopping in the morning and leave by noon. This is because the stock team has replenish all the products, all the items that were messed up are back at their rightful places and the store is clean and updated. If you are shopping online, online items are usually found in-store two to three weeks after appearing on the site, so if you see an item online, there is a good chance it is not in-store just yet.
