Simple But Powerful Animation Likens Dementia To Spiraling Into Utter Confusion
By Mikelle Leow, 21 Apr 2017
Sam Atkin—co-founder of animation studio Mummu—took his first step towards the fight for dementia by running on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society, and his late grandmother who had lost her battle with the illness.
In this beautiful animated short created by his team, a runner races off in a positive state but soon encounters some bumps that cause him to spiral into complete confusion.
“This is a short fundraising film I’ve made to raise awareness about the symptoms of dementia and invoke empathy and a deeper understanding of the disease,” Sam says.
