Watch: A 1981 Interview With A Young Steve Jobs About Early Personal Computers
By Dorothy Tan, 17 May 2017
Website Boing Boing recently shared an interesting video of an old interview that news program Nightline did with Steve Jobs, who were Chairman of Apple Computer Inc back in 1981.
This particular episode of the program is concerned with “the relevancy of computers in every day life and how they will affect our future”—these questions appear quaint in our tech-saturated world today.
In this interview, Steve Jobs’ characteristic wit and charisma can be seen in his answer to a question that express a fear of being controlled by computers—stating that Apple’s computers only weight about 12 pounds each, users can “throw it out the window if the relationship isn't going so well,”.
