Sennheiser Unveils A Confident New Logo That Reflects ‘Continued Forward Motion’
By Dorothy Tan, 09 Jun 2017
For those of you who value the quality of your audio experiences, Sennheiser should be a familiar and admired brand name—to mark its evolution and move into the future, the audio specialist has recently announced a new logo and visual language.
At first glance, little seemed to have changed with the refreshed Sennheiser logo and wordmark—however, it also feels cleaner, more modern and elegant. In particular, the iconic ’S’ logo has been “enhanced to make it more eye-catching and appealing”.
The accompanying wordmark has been updated with “a narrower font style that improves legibility”—according to Oliver Berger, Head of Global Design Management at Sennheiser, “These careful yet crucial changes keep the logo faithful to the roots of the company while also making it look more elegant, modern and confident.”
The HE 1, which is supposedly “the best headphones in the world”, would be the first Sennheiser product to carry the new logo.
