Starbucks Asks Diverse Individuals, ‘What Does Good Feel Like?’ In Uplifting Ad
By Kylie Woon, 12 Jul 2017
Loud music, waking up to another sunrise, and trumpets—these are but a handful of the responses that Starbucks received when the brand asked, “What does good feel like?”
In this merry ad created by 72 And Sunny for Starbucks’ new Teavana iced tea beverages, individuals from varied walks of life muse over the things that bring them joy and make them feel good.
The cast is diverse, ranging from makeup artist Nura Afia—CoverGirl’s first Muslim brand ambassador—to Alma, a Sierra Leone-born hearing-impaired model who shares what makes her happy via sign language, and Medal of Honor US Marine Kyle Carpenter.
The spot concludes by distilling the cast members’ various experiences and definitions of happiness into a pure, simplistic statement: “Good feels good.”
See the ad below and watch individual cast members discuss happiness here.
