LOL: Teen Goes Viral After Taking Over Rail Company’s Twitter Account
By Izza Sofia, 14 Jul 2017
Southern Rail, a rail company, has been trending on Twitter after a work experience student took over the company’s social media account.
The student, known only as Eddie, introduced himself on Twitter and began answering customers questions, no matter how strange, and his hilarious replies quickly went viral.
He wrote, “Hi, Eddie here! Here on Work Experience and ready to answer your questions!” The teenager proceeded to chat away with customers, even giving dinner recommendations. When someone asked Eddie whether he should have chicken fajitas or chicken Thai green curry for dinner, Eddie replied, “It has to be the chicken fajitas… What service will you be on tonight? Be sure to make me some!”
There were questions involving fighting animals, with one user asking, “Would you rather fight 1 horse sized duck or 100 duck sized horse?” Eddie opted for 100 duck-sized horses, adding that “A horse-sized duck would be pretty scary!”
By the end of the day, the hashtag #AskEddie was trending, as more and more Twitter users logged on to ask the wise teen a question. View some of his best tweets below.
