Apple Literally Shoots For The Moon Using The iPhone 7 In Campaign’s New Photos
By Yoon Sann Wong, 14 Jul 2017
Apple UAE has unveiled new photos as part of its ‘Shot on iPhone’ campaign to mark Eid al-Fitr—a major religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan. The start of the Eid celebrations is customarily signaled by observations of the new moon.
To tie in with the festivity, Apple invited five local amateur photographers to capture images featuring different phases of the moon using the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, with the support of telescopes.
Large scale images from the campaign are running in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, along with the commercial below. Apple’s also produced a tutorial for those interested to learn ‘How to shoot the moon on iPhone 7’.
