A Fabulous ‘Brandless’ Online Grocery Store Where Everything Is Priced At $3
By Dorothy Tan, 14 Jul 2017
If you love MUJI, you will like Brandless as well—this San Francisco-based online grocery store offers daily essentials in a refreshingly unbranded way, and at a price you cannot refuse.
Helmed by entrepreneurs Tina Sharkey and Ido Leffler, Brandless seeks to disrupt the traditional distribution model for consumer goods by cutting out the middle man—retail stores—and selling straight to the consumers online.
If you are not already won over by the brand’s pleasingly minimal yet colorful product range, you would definitely be ready to start loading up your virtual shopping cart when you learn that every single item that Brandless sells is priced at just US$3—to keep its prices low, it has opted to offer a relatively limited collection of around 200 essential items.
However, despite this, you would still be able to get most of what you need, from non-perishable food, personal care products, kitchen utensils, cleaning products to office supplies—all without having to pay the “brand tax” that is a given when you shop the old school way.
