The Evolution Of The Famous LEGO Logo Over More Than Eight Decades

Beloved by children for generations, the colorful building bricks by Danish toy company LEGO has become almost synonymous with childhood—while its logo is now recognizable all over the world, did you know that this famous brand mark has undergone many changes over the years?
Design website Logo Design Love recently published an article that traces the evolution of the LEGO logo, from the infancy of the company in the early 1930s until the present day.
While the logo has looked largely the same since 1973—with its friendly bubble type and red-and-yellow color palette—it was changed much more frequently in the first half of the company’s nearly 90-year history.
For instance, in 1953, three different logos were being used by LEGO.
