In Japan, You Can Now Have ‘Coca-Cola Coffee Plus’ For Double The Caffeine
By Yoon Sann Wong, 13 Sep 2017
For those of you who love coffee and Coca-Cola, the Japanese arm of the beverage brand has answered your dreams with ‘Coca-Cola Coffee Plus’.
This soft drink pre-mixed with coffee might pack half the calories of ordinary Coca-Cola, but expect double the caffeine.
The carbonated beverage variant has been released in selected parts of Japan, including Tokyo’s Shinjuku neighborhood. Sold through vending machines, the drinks are priced at ¥130 (US$1.20) each.
According to SoraNews24, the drink looks similar to normal Coca-Cola, but smells uncannily identical to a cup of coffee. Taste-wise, however, doesn’t set it very far from the average Coca-Cola, apart from offering a richer flavor.
