Razer May Be Launching A Smartphone For ‘Hardcore Gamers’ Next Month
By Dorothy Tan, 12 Oct 2017
Every tech brand seems to be launching their own smartphone these days—and now, cult gaming tech company Razer may be jumping onto the bandwagon as well.
A little while ago, a teaser for an unveiling event on 1 November 2017 showed up on the brand’s Twitter account and website—it is accompanied by an image of a man sitting in the dark, smiling down at a bright screen.
While it is impossible to find out the specifics of the device from this photo alone, 9to5Google states in its post that “it sure looks like a phone.”—this seems especially probably as Razer has bought up smartphone brand Nextbit early this year.
There have also rumors that the company is developing a smartphone for “hardcore gamers”, although that has not been any official confirmation of this.
Although any discussion of a gaming-focused smartphone by Razer is still pure speculation at this point, we are still excited to find out what the gaming industry leader have up its sleeve at the launch event next month.
If you are a gamer, would you buy a smartphone that is tailored for video gaming?
