Porsche Unveils A Vintage Logo For Its 2018 Rennsport Reunion VI
By Izza Sofia, 20 Oct 2017
Porsche Cars North America released more details about the 2018 Porsche Rennsport Reunion VI to be held at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, from 27 to 30 September 2018.
The Rennsport Reunion is the world’s largest gathering of Porsche race cars and also unites their designers, engineers and drivers. Last held in 2015 at the famed raceway, the reunion attracted nearly 60,000 fans—and for 2018, the event has been stretched to four days.
The 2018 logo highlights the notorious Laguna Seca ‘Corkscrew,’ which is made into an official logo for 2018. The logo will also be used for a limited-edition watch from Porsche Design, on official communications as well as around the racetrack.
“By prominently incorporating the ‘Corkscrew’ into the refreshed design, the feeling of motion and speed will carry the memories of this Rennsport Reunion far into the future,” President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America Klaus Zellmer said in a statement.
