Erdem x H&M Collection Of Whimsical Floral Dresses Perfect For Garden Parties
By Izza Sofia, 20 Oct 2017
The Erdem x H&M lookbook has finally been revealed, after the highly-anticipated collaboration was announced in July.
Featuring a campaign directed by Baz Luhrmann, the collection was inspired by the English countryside and is bursting with the the label’s trademark floral prints.
H&M has given us the gift of a full campaign, shot by photographer Michael Pudelka, in the style of a family portrait album.
In a press release by the brand, the photographer explains, “We thought it would be great to do a modern take on classical family portraits, creating characters in Erdem’s world. The Erdem x H&M collection really spoke to me, and the working process felt authentic and creatively charged.”
Arriving in stores on 2 November 2017, it features a number of opulent, red carpet-ready gowns, which will undoubtedly be hugely popular with fashion-savvy shoppers.
Key pieces in the collaborative collection include a statement leopard print coat, a sleeveless ball gown adorned in jacquard print and a high-necked, long-sleeved black lace dress embellished with opulent georgette ruffles and vintage-inspired pleats.
